Tour Description:

The Ranthambhore fort is located in the southeastern part of the state of Rajasthan. The fort is 1000 years old and has been a silent witness of many royal battles that were fought on the soil of Rajasthan. The Great Mughal Emperor Akbar once tried to capture the fort. The Ranthambhore fort is the most fascinating tourist destination in Rajasthan. It is situated in Sawai Madhopur district which is around 100 kilometers away from Jaipur, the capital city of the state.

The fort is now home to the Ranthambhore national park and comes under the protected wildlife haven. A number of marsh water crocodiles and as many as 200 species of birds are seen here. It provides a natural environment for the habitation of the national animal of India, tiger. The tourists visiting here get a rare opportunity to closely watch the tigers roaming here.

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi

    After your arrival at the Delhi airport, our representative will escort you to the hotel and help you in the transfer and check-in process. We will relax for the rest of the day at the hotel room. if you arrive early, we will arrange a guided tour for you to the nearest Akshardham temple.

  • Day 2 - Delhi

    After the morning breakfast we will visit the major tourist spots in the capital city. Delhi is bestowed with many cultural heritages of the ancient times. It has been the capital since the 6th century BC. The prime attractions are Raj Ghat, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, and India Gate. The golden glory of the past makes the city one of the culturally rich destinations across the country. We return back to the hotel in evening for an overnight stay.

  • Day 3 - Delhi - Agra

    We head to Agra the following day. Agra is well known for its grandeur and vibrant monuments and the iconic Taj Mahal. On our way, we come across Sikandra and tour the Agra fort, also a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. It was constructed during the reign of the Greatest Mughal Emperor Akbar. The Agra fort is carved with exquisite Mughal architecture which is truly mesmerizing. Late, we will visit Itmad-ud-Daula. It is a tomb named after a Persian adventure. We spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 4 - Agra – Ranthambhore

    Early morning, we drive to Ranthambhore. It is a part of the Asia’s best wildlife sanctuary. You can have the opportunity to watch tigers roaming in the natural environment. The amazing species of birds and crocodiles will be a real treat on this trip. After arriving at the hotel, we will go on an evening safari. We will take an early morning safari at the tiger reserve the next day.

  • Day 5 - Ranthambhore

    We head for an early morning visit to the Ranthambhore tiger reserve. The park houses a larger tiger population which can be watched easily. The endangered species rule the park and live in this natural environment. We will visit the Ranthambhore fort I the afternoon. It is built during the 10th century and considered to be one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan. Later we will also visit some nearby temples. We return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 6 - Ranthambhore - Jaipur

    We proceed to the capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur. We will visit Fatehpursikri on our way to Jaipur. Fatehpursikri was once a Mughal city dotted with Mughal creations. We tour a number of palaces, monuments, forts in the capital city. We will dine at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary for lunch. It is a popular tourist spot located a few kilometers away from the main city. The rest of the day will be spent touring major sites across Jaipur. We spend the night at the hotel.

  • Day 7 - Jaipur

    We leave for amber fort after the morning breakfast. It is one of the magnificent forts in Rajasthan and located close to the city. We tour the fort by taking an elephant ride from the bottom to the top of the hill. We will also visit the city palace and the museum that houses a huge collection of royal artifacts. The city palace still serves as a royal residence for the Rajput families. The vibrant palaces, enchanting havelis, scintillating temples of Jaipur will surely make your trip a memorable one. We return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 8 - Delhi

    We will have our morning breakfast at the Neemrana Palace, one of the elegant palaces of the state. After the breakfast, we will drive you to Delhi for your flight back home.
